Ms. Lauren
OTD, OTR/L
New Client Coordinator|
Pediatric Occupational
and Feeding Therapist
Lauren has loved working with children for as long as she can remember. The opportunity to combine play, help children develop new skills, and work closely with families to provide support and education is what excites Lauren most as a pediatric occupational and feeding therapist.
Lauren has been part of the Sprouts team since 2019, providing occupational and feeding therapy both in person on Oahu and virtually. She also serves as our client coordinator, which means families beginning services with Sprouts have a therapist to talk to from the very first conversation. Lauren walks new families through onboarding, answers questions about the intake process, and helps parents know what to expect before their first appointment.
Lauren grew up in Minnesota and received her bachelor's and doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University. She has continued on to earn a Sensory Integration Certification from USC, with specializations in birth-to-three and sensory integration for children on the autism spectrum. She loves to identify each child's passions and strengths and incorporate those intrinsic motivators into therapeutic activities.
