Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Justin has more than 20 years of experience supporting pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients in behavioral health, inpatient, outpatient, and community settings across Honolulu. He specializes in play-based, sensory-informed, and holistic therapy that helps children and families build emotional regulation, motor skills, independence, and joy in daily life through creative, child-led interventions that turn therapy into play rather than work. During his long tenure at The Queen’s Medical Center Family Treatment Center, Justin designed sensory rooms, secured a $30,000 grant for a therapeutic garden, launched a successful music therapy program, and co-facilitated addiction recovery groups while serving on hospital committees and integrating Hawaiian values into care.
