Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Feeding Therapist.
Shilpa has been working as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 29 years, way longer than she has been a mom! Shilpa firmly believes that kids at home as well as at work have shaped her into the person she is today.
Shilpa specializes in developmental delays, sensory processing, and feeding. She has expertise in diverse pediatric settings from school to inpatient to outpatient pediatric clinic.

What is your favorite childhood smell?
A jam consistency spread made from Rose Petals called "GULKAND" in my language "MARATHI"

What is your secret talent?
I completed a Classical Indian Dance called " KATTHAK" with my daughters as my classmates, and we together completed 12 years of rigorous dance regime and exams to obtain the Diploma Certification.

Shilpa formulates play as an integral part of a child's development and learning and derives great joy and satisfaction in supporting children and families attain their highest potential and become successful in their daily life.
Hometown:
Born and brought up in the coastal city of Mumbai, India, Shilpa migrated to the United States in 1998 and currently lives with her family in California.
Hobbies and Interests
Shilpa is trained in classical Indian dance and music. She is an avid beachgoer and also loves spending time with family amidst nature.
